Raised by ranchers, for families. Meet the families

The Ranches Behind Your Beef

Meet six of the ranches behind Meet America, across Colorado and Wyoming. Family operations raising cattle on open rangeland, who put their name on every package.

Rancher-Owned

Good Beef Starts With a Relationship

Meet America was born from a simple idea: connect small, local ranchers with consumers who were looking for a better beef-buying experience. The ranching families are that connection.

Every one of these ranches is small, family-run, and worked by ranchers who own a stake in the company. There is no broker sitting in the middle of it. When you order from Meet America, the family who raised the animal is the family who gets paid for it.

Most of this ground has been worked by the same family for four or five generations. That length of time changes how a person ranches. You do not wear out grass you intend to hand to your grandchildren, and you do not cut corners on cattle you will still be answering for in twenty years.

  • Know your rancher. Every cut comes with complete information about the ranch, breed, and feed. You are buying from a family, not a label.
  • No middlemen. We deliver straight from our partner ranches in Colorado and Wyoming to your door. What used to go to a broker stays with the family who did the work.
  • Mindful stewards. Cattle raised on grass on open rangeland, finished on grass or on grain. Healthy grassland is the asset these families are actually managing.

Why the relationship matters

Raising good beef is slow work, and it does not happen at a distance. It takes a family who knows their ground, their water and their cattle well enough to notice when something is off. That relationship - between the rancher, the animal, and the family who sits down to eat it - is the product. When you know who raised your beef, the rancher has every reason to raise it well, and you have every reason to trust what is on your plate.
