- Why does the Meet America mission matter to them?
Meet America allows us to market consumer-ready cattle to the public without having to go through the large meat packers. I was an early supporter of Meet America because I believe it is up to us to change the current vertically integrated system that is having catastrophic effects on the beef producers in this country. We need to cultivate a better relationship with the consumers and allow true transparency by removing the foreign-owned packers from the USA Beef supply. The success of this company and more like it will be the key to future generations of American producers to be able to continue to raise the safest, highest quality Beef available for American consumers.
- What do they hope for the future of their ranch?
Growth, and having the access to a free cash market to sell Beef.
